Our Philosophy
At BBQ Social Club, we don’t just serve barbecue — we host an experience. Inside our tent, you’ll find everything that defines Texas hospitality: legendary barbecue, top-shelf drinks, live Texas music, and even better people.
Our goal is simple: bring people together and make them feel welcome, whether it’s their first night with us or their tenth year back. We’re built on three things, quality, connection, and celebration, and we live them out every night of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo BBQ Cook-Off.
From the first welcome drink to the last song of the night, every detail is designed to feel like home… just with seven full bars, a live band, and two roasted hogs.

Each year at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo BBQ Cook-Off, we open our tent to guests looking for the real thing.
Inside our massive black tent, it feels like the best upscale backyard party in Texas, bigger, louder, and with better barbecue. From the first welcome to the last song, it’s all driven by great food, live music, and genuine hospitality.

BBQ Social Club is more than an event, it’s a community built around shared values, strong connections, and a genuine desire to give back.
We proudly support the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo and stand alongside Cowboys 4 Heroes, our partners in service who provide meals and support for military families and first responders. Together, we’re committed to making a real difference in the lives of our neighbors Whether we’re raising funds, volunteering time, or simply bringing people together, we believe in using our tent as a platform for good. The friendships, partnerships, and memories formed here extend well beyond the BBQ Cook-Off.
